Hello everyone!

In March, we had a much-anticipated meeting with our NY State Apiarist Paul Cappy, who traveled to us all the way from Albany. I hope Paul answered all your questions and concerns about registering your bee hives with the State of NY and about varroa and nosema and apiary registration and inspection on Long Island. It looks like we are in good shape.

We continue to add new members to our Club every month, and that is wonderful! We welcome Sallly and David Nadler, Charles Rabus, Grover Barnett, Diana and Robert Deichert, Karen Hengerveld, Steven Lorenz, William Mahoney, Edward McAteer, Katie Mickaliger, Elisabeth Mooney, Jan Myszczynski, April Rocchetta, Laurie Sponza, Thomas Vitti, and Tom Weber, new members this month! And thank all the other members who paid their dues at the last meeting.
