Join us for a unique learning experience led by master beekeeper Moira Alexander. Each session is crafted to offer both new and seasoned beekeepers practical insights and hands-on experience in beekeeping.

Whether you’re taking your first steps into beekeeping or looking to deepen your existing knowledge, our Teaching Apiary Sessions are the perfect opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive community setting.
Safety Note:
For the safety and comfort of all participants, appropriate protective clothing is required. All participants are responsible for their own safety around the hives, including the need for any medications for stings.
Location:
Find the LIBC Teaching Apiary at 1725 Brentwood Rd, Brentwood, NY 11717, on the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Campus. Enter from Brentwood Rd (opposite 5th Ave.), proceed straight past the guard shack, right at Maria Regina Rehab, right at the circle towards the parking’s end, then right again at the rain garden. Park near the Honey House where others have parked. Meet your instructor at the Honey House; hives are on its left.
