Speaker Presentation

Tim McMahon is an EAS Master Beekeeper and a Georgia Master Beekeeper.  He has kept bees for almost 20 years now and at his peak was up to 28 hives.  He was a Chemical Engineer for the Federal Government until his retirement last month and now is the volunteer Native Bee Curator at the Smithsonian Museum.  Mr. McMahon has worked with native bees for more than 15 years and is involved with multiple projects in Maryland, his home, as well as projects in Arizona and Costa Rica.
